SEA is pleased to announce that its subsidiary SEA Canada has been awarded a £15.1 million contract to cover the production of lightweight Torpedo Launch Systems (TLS) for a major naval vessel program. Work will commence immediately and is expected to complete in 2030.

SEA’s TLS is a rapid-reaction system capable of firing a variety of NATO standard lightweight torpedoes. This contract will be delivered by SEA’s wholly owned Canadian subsidiary, SEA Canada, supported by a team at SEA in the UK.

Andy Thomis, Cohort Chief Executive, said: “This contract is another significant win for SEA and will deliver an essential capability for the Royal Canadian Navy. It builds on SEA’s long-standing reputation and successful delivery of the TLS system to customers around the world. Together with other recent contract wins across the Group, this further underpins our order book and enhances the visibility of future revenues.”
