Dutch heave compensation specialist Seaqualize executed the world’s first offshore transfer lifts of wind turbine components from a heaving supply vessel. Their newly developed offshore lifting device, the Heave Chief 1100 is deployed by DEME Offshore US.

Oasis Marine has successfully transferred power through their Oasis Power Buoy to a Crew Transfer Vessel. This pioneering achievement paves the way for hybrid and fully electric vessels in offshore wind farms, as well as reducing maritime emissions by expanding vessel charging beyond ports and harbors.

Van Oord has been awarded two new offshore wind projects: Baltic Power in the Baltic Sea and Greater Changhua 2b and 4 in Taiwan. The contracts have a combined value of more than EUR 500 million.
