Baltimore County, Maryland and Sparrows Point Steel, LLC (“Sparrows Point Steel”) won a major new federal grant of over $47 million to support plans to establish a major offshore wind logistics and manufacturing hub in Baltimore County. It is the fourth-largest award given this year through the U.S. Maritime Administration’s competitive Port Infrastructure Development Program.
