PGE Baltica Selects Ramboll for Technical Advisory of Its Offshore Wind Projects

Ramboll Polska has entered a cooperation agreement with PGE Baltica (PGE) for technical advisory of all of PGE’s offshore wind farm projects. The 4-year contract includes technical support for both the development, construction, and operation phases of PGE’s investments in the Baltic Sea.

Partnering with Ramboll, a leader in the offshore industry, is key to achieving PGE’s ambitious plans. By 2030, the company plans to build the Baltica Offshore Wind Farm, implemented in two stages: Baltica 2 and Baltica 3, with a total capacity of 2.5 GW.

After 2030, Baltica 1—which has an additional capacity of 0.9 GW—will join PGE’s portfolio. With new areas in the Baltic Sea, Grupa PGE aims to reach more than 7 GW of offshore capacity by 2040.
