Aquatec to Host Marine Measurement Forum’s 65th Edition

The long-standing Marine Measurement Forum is a series of one-day, non-profit-making events that provide opportunities for networking and the informal exchange of ideas, knowledge, techniques and developments across an extensive range of marine scientific measurement activities.

During an MMF day, a series of short presentations on diverse marine measurement topics are interspersed with refreshment breaks that offer delegates the chance to network with like-minded colleagues. Businesses and Institutions across the UK ocean technology sector take turns to organize MMF meetings. Aquatec was selected to host the 65th event, which will be themed Innovation in Measurement.

MMF 65 will be held in the peaceful village of Heckfield, north of Hampshire and close to Aquatec House. The venue selected is the historical Highfield Park, previously known as the Manor of Heckfield. This estate dates back as far as 1166.

The Marine Measurement Forum is well known for its history of quality programs comprising expert views on scientific research, new developments, innovative instrumentation, and survey projects, among other topics. Continuing with the Forum’s tradition of delivering interesting live content from specialists, MMF 65 will feature 10-13 volunteer speakers who will share their insights on Innovation in Measurement through 15-minute presentations.

Registration for the event is now open, and the call for speakers is active. More details on submitting an abstract and securing tickets are available on the News & Events section of the company’s website: www.aquatecgroup.com/news-and-events/mmf65
