Global Maritime’s Geosciences department has doubled in size over the last six months alone, driven by a 250% increase in revenue and secured workload in long-term offshore renewable energy projects around the world. Particular success has been realized in the European offshore wind sectors, working in specialist owners engineer roles, and in emerging offshore wind markets in APAC where Global Maritime are leveraging global experience through their local footprint.

“GM Geo”, as the department is referred to, has welcomed a wealth of expertise to its ranks, strengthening its geosciences provision for the global market.

And it’s come at a vital time for industry as efforts towards net zero shifts up a gear and energy security take center stage.

Each new team member has been selected for their specialist knowledge and the company’s recognition of the importance of local expertise and local client relationships.
