Helix Robotics Solutions Inc., the U.S. Robotics division of Helix Energy Solutions Group, Inc. (NYSE: HLX), has extended its agreement with Bordelon Marine, LLC to charter the DP2 Jones Act-compliant Ultra-Light Intervention Vessel (ULIV) M/V Shelia Bordelon through June 2024.

Interconnect Malta Ltd (ICM), a government company operating under Malta’s Ministry of Environment, Energy and Enterprise, following an international open call for tenders, has awarded Fugro a contract to deliver a preliminary marine route survey and post-survey assessments to identify the final route for the Second Cable Interconnection Project between Malta and Sicily.
Japan’s 3D survey company, Windy Network, has chosen a Saab Seaeye Falcon underwater robotic vehicle for its global operations.
They intend deploying the Falcon on a wide range of missions, including academic research, marine archaeology, fishery surveys and construction installation studies, such as offshore wind energy sites.

Petrobras has extended the contracts and awarded new long-term charter and service contracts to Norskan Offshore Ltda. and DOF Subsea Brasil Servicos Ltda. for the vessels; Skandi Chieftain, Skandi Olympia and Skandi Commander. All contracts include vessels and ROVs and are for a period of three years.
