N-Sea Subsea Cables Continues to Invest into Strategical Cable Lay Operations

Having successfully completed four subsea cable repairs in the last 18 months, N-Sea has invested further in strategic modular subsea cable installation equipment in order to respond to the growing demand in the market.

N-Sea Subsea Cables is a dedicated business line within the N-Sea Group, set up to focus on responsive and pre-emptive cable installation and repair works in the marine environment. The continued investment in both people and assets is part of a bigger strategy to offer faster and more efficient response times to clients who experience faults in their assets.

Jack Wattel, Director of Subea Cables states that since joining N-Sea: “I have been amazed by the development of our business. We have engaged and employed people within our core team who have both decades of experience as well as the specific expertise in cable repair and installation; this includes our teams offshore who execute the works. The addition of more strategic equipment allows us to offer our clients something quite unique and I am excited for the future of N-Sea and the Subsea Cables business.”

In addition to the recently acquired cable equipment, N-Sea maintains agreements with their long-term trusted partners to keep the Neptune NP459 barge mobilized with a 1000t carousel from Dutch Offshore Contractors. This again allowing for faster response times and availability for reactive situations.
