The two-day Summit will focus on how the offshore wind industry can ensure that safety remains a high-level priority as it grows.
As the offshore wind industry continues to mature, it is critical that its support systems categorized as operations & maintenance and health & safety are strong and resilient across the industry. In the next few years several projects are set to get underway, and the industry will begin to see a lot of steel in the water. As the industry accelerates, it must answer key questions around industry standards for operations and maintenance.
This event will feature speakers from the Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement (BSEE), National Academy of Science, as well as industry leaders Equinor, Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy, and RWE to discuss topics including design concepts to improve safety outcomes, transparency in data-sharing, and innovations in workforce training.
