Offshore Renewable Energy Players will Gather at Seaenergy 2023 in Paris, June 20-21

The development of offshore renewable energy is going from strength to strength in France and driving forward the energy transition. The country's first offshore wind farm off Saint-Nazaire has officially opened, the winner of the Centre Manche 1 tender has been announced, the specifications of the southern Brittany floating offshore wind project have been published, the government has set the goal of 40GW with 50 farms by 2050, and the Green Industry law has been passed.

Against this favorable backdrop, the 7th edition of Seanergy, the international event for offshore renewable energy, will take place on 20 and 21 June 2023 in Paris – Parc des Expositions at Porte de Versailles. Organized in a central location to facilitate meetings, Seanergy gathers all French and international players, economic and political decision-makers from across the sector, under the High Patronage of Mr. Emmanuel Macron, President of the French Republic, with the support of the French Ministry of Energy Transition and Ademe.

Organized by Bluesign since 2016, Seanergy gathers more than 3,500 leaders and experts from the offshore renewable energy industry each year. For two days, the exhibition brings together innovations, technologies, projects, and presents future and concrete solutions of the 200 exhibitors present. A program of international talks & panel discussions allows you to benefit from feedback and a prospective view of the sector.

The event aims to promote all offshore renewable energy technologies, as well as the main related sectors, and to accelerate the development of the industry: fixed and floating wind power, tidal energy, wave energy, marine thermal energy (SWAC & OTEC), floating solar (FPV), salinity gradient energy and related industries such as: energy storage, digital, decarbonized maritime transports (wind-powered & hydrogen), drones or eco-designed materials.

The 2023 conference program will place strong emphasis on fixed and floating wind power and will address the following questions in particular: How to cope with the increase in offshore wind power capacity on the grids? What strategy should new countries choose to enter the market? How can floating wind power finally take off?

Many formats will also be offered: both business and content sharing (talks & panel discussions pitches), spaces devoted to recruitment and to research and innovation (research posters, innovation village).

Prior to the opening of Seanergy, the 9th edition of the National MRE Conference by the French Renewable Energy Trade Association's (SER) will take place on June 19th at the Maison de l'Océan, Paris 5e.

Seanergy contributes, in a global context of climate crisis and energy sovereignty, to making France one of the leading countries for offshore renewable energy.
