As Envorem expands its groundbreaking oil remediation system in the Middle East, the company is pleased to announce the appointment of John Grover as Middle East Director (Non-Executive). This strategic appointment coincides with the start of a major lagoon clean-up project in Saudi Arabia and will support further regional growth for the company.

John Grover is a seasoned executive with nearly four decades of leadership experience in the global oil and gas services sector. His extensive track record includes senior positions at BJ Services, GE-PII, Baker Hughes, Cape PLC, Sparrows Group, and EnerMech.

In his new role of supporting the growth of Envorem’s green technology footprint internationally, John will draw upon his broad experience across the GCC, Caspian, Asia-Pacific, and Africa regions to help develop client relationships and drive growth.

At Baker Hughes, John led a $300+ million business unit operating across 28 countries, delivering revenue and earnings growth exceeding 50% during a five-year period. He subsequently oversaw specialist environmental service operations, generating £100 million in annual revenue, and was instrumental in expanding Sparrows Group into key GCC markets.

Most recently, John was Strategic Sales Director at EnerMech, where he played a pivotal role in doubling the company’s pipelines and subsea business unit.

“We’re delighted to welcome John Grover to the Envorem team,” said Mark Batt-Rawden, Managing Director of Envorem. “His extensive regional knowledge and long-standing commitment to service innovation make him an ideal fit for our next phase of growth. As we scale up the deployment of our groundbreaking oil remediation system across the Middle East, John’s leadership will be instrumental in developing our partnerships and delivering our environmental technology to clients who need it most.”

Commenting on his new position, John said: “I was drawn to Envorem because of the clarity of its environmental purpose and the simplicity of its technology. There’s a very real need in the industry to clean up the legacy of oil production, and I believe Envorem’s approach will resonate with clients across the Gulf. I’m pleased to bring my experience to support the next stage of the company’s growth.”
