Kongsberg Maritime and Symphotic Tii Sign Dealer Agreement

Norway headquartered Kongsberg Maritime, through its US subsidiary Kongsberg Underwater Technology Inc (KUTI) announces that it has entered into a dealer agreement with Symphotic Tii Corporation for distribution of its subsea solutions in California, USA.

 

 

The agreement, which focuses on the provision of Kongsberg Maritime’s sophisticated underwater and positioning technology, extends the availability of subsea products in the USA, bringing an advanced range of products to exploration and research companies based on or near the West Coast of America. “We are excited to offer the market-leading products developed by Kongsberg Maritime and its subsidiaries,” said Jack Roberts, Operations Manager of Symphotic Tii Corporation. “Their extensive catalogue of underwater products perfectly complements our existing portfolio and we are happy to introduce it to our client base.”

Kongsberg Maritime already has an extensive presence in North America through its KUTI subsidiary, which has 8 sites spanning the USA and Canada. Alongside KUTI, Symphotic Tii will be working with and representing four Kongsberg Maritime divisions in California: Kongsberg Mesotech, the Camera Group, Subsea Monitoring (SuMo) and Underwater Mapping (UMAP).

Through the dealer agreement with Kongsberg Maritime, Symphotic Tii will enable easier access to a wide range of class-leading products covering various disciplines, from single and multibeam sonars and echosounders through to high-end underwater camera technology and subsea communication systems.
