Hellenic Cables S.A., the cables segment of Cenergy Holdings, signed a long-term framework agreement with Alliander N.V., one of the leading network companies in the Netherlands, for the supply of medium-voltage (MV) and low-voltage (LV) power cables. The agreement forms part of Alliander’s largest cable tender to date, supporting its multiyear investment program to expand and reinforce the Dutch electricity grid.

The framework agreement has a duration of up to eight (8) years (2026–2034). Under the agreement, Hellenic Cables will undertake the design, production, and delivery of MV and LV cables. The cables will be manufactured at Hellenic Cables’ state-of-the-art facility in Thiva, Greece, where the company upholds high-quality and sustainability standards. Following recent investments, the plant now operates at more than double its previous capacity.

This collaboration supports the accelerating energy transition in the Netherlands by contributing to the upgrade and modernization of distribution networks. As electricity demand rises and renewable energy integration grows, high-quality and reliable cable systems are essential to strengthen network resilience and ensure long-term security of supply.

Christos Apostolakis, Commercial Senior Director, Onshore Cable Solutions of Hellenic Cables, stated: “This long-term framework agreement with Alliander highlights the trust placed in Hellenic Cables as a reliable partner for network operators in Europe. Through this collaboration, our company supports, modernizes, and strengthens the Dutch power grid with high-quality cable solutions and long-term commitment.”
