The framework agreement has a duration of up to eight (8) years (2026–2034). Under the agreement, Hellenic Cables will undertake the design, production, and delivery of MV and LV cables. The cables will be manufactured at Hellenic Cables’ state-of-the-art facility in Thiva, Greece, where the company upholds high-quality and sustainability standards. Following recent investments, the plant now operates at more than double its previous capacity.
This collaboration supports the accelerating energy transition in the Netherlands by contributing to the upgrade and modernization of distribution networks. As electricity demand rises and renewable energy integration grows, high-quality and reliable cable systems are essential to strengthen network resilience and ensure long-term security of supply.
