As part of its ongoing commitment to innovation in subsea operations, OceanPact is upgrading two of its remotely operated underwater vehicles (ROVs) with the Rovins Nano Inertial Navigation System, developed by French company Exail Maritime & Industry, a global leader in robotics, navigation, aerospace, and photonics.

The incorporation of Rovins Nano will enable greater precision in navigation data and provide important information for functions such as self-steering and self-positioning. This will translate into greater safety and efficiency in our fleet’s subsea operations in services provided to different clients.

“OceanPact is looking to the future and preparing to offer its clients an increasingly comprehensive package of services. This commitment has enabled the company to advance consistently, overcoming challenges and expanding its technical and operational capabilities,” said Davi Lima, OceanPact’s subsea director.

The company has been investing systematically in subsea operations since 2021. OceanPact has established itself as a leading company in the sector, delivering quality and safety to its clients and other stakeholders. Each operation is planned in alignment with the company’s values, focusing on technical excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
