The milestone anchor was purchased by Van Oord, a renowned marine contractor, marking another chapter in the strong partnership between the two companies. To make the occasion even more special, Delmar Systems welcomed Sinterklaas as the honorary host of the event, bringing festive cheer to the celebration.
The event took place at the RHB Rotterdam terminal, where the 11,000th anchor was officially handed over to Van Oord representatives. Also present were 18 additional anchors recently ordered by Van Oord, further underlining the continued cooperation between the two industry leaders.

The celebration opened with remarks from Leopoldo Bello, Delmar Systems’ Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), who highlighted the company’s journey from its humble beginnings to this remarkable achievement. “Delivering our 11,000th anchor is a significant moment for all of us at Delmar Systems,” Leopoldo stated. “This milestone not only reflects our commitment to innovation and quality but also the trust our clients, like Van Oord, place in us.”
