LEVERAGING EXPERTISE
VideoRay is now part of AV, a global leader in multi-domain unmanned systems. This transformation began with BlueHalo’s 2024 acquisition of VideoRay and reached its next phase in May 2025, with the completion of BlueHalo’s merger with AV. As a newly combined entity under the AV name, the organization integrates world-class capabilities across space, air, land—and now, sea. VideoRay’s subsea expertise plays a vital role in expanding AV’s portfolio and strategic reach.
What does this mean for VideoRay customers? Quite simply: more. More innovation.
More resources. More support. The company’s commitment to customer success remains unwavering, and the new alignment with AV empowers the delivery of even greater value across all sectors—from commercial to defense to academic research. With access to enhanced R&D, global infrastructure, and collaborative technologies, we’re accelerating development cycles and expanding the possibilities for real-world applications.

TRIED & TESTED TECH
At the forefront of this progress are VideoRay’s industry-leading systems. The Mission Specialist Defender, selected for the US Navy’s Maritime Expeditionary Standoff Response (MESR) program, offers unmatched power and versatility with a depth-rating to 1,000 meters— soon to be 4,000 meters—for increased access. The Mission Specialist Pro 5 delivers exceptional speed and maneuverability in a lightweight, rapidly deployable package—ideal for fast-paced inspection and security missions. The Mission Specialist Ally, VideoRay’s newest model, provides a modular, budget-conscious entry point for customers seeking scalable, professional-grade ROV capabilities.
These systems are not just robust—they’re built for expansion. With shared components, swappable modules, and mission flexibility at their core, every VideoRay product is designed to grow with user needs.
LOOKING AHEAD
VideoRay’s teams are hard at work developing new technologies that will redefine and expand underwater operations. Customers can expect to see the first wave of these innovations as early as Q4 2025, including a new vehicle, greater depth ratings, and improved mission payloads and performance.
While the VideoRay name will begin to transition into the AV brand later this year, the DNA of what makes us successful remains unchanged. The focus is, and remains, delivering performance, value, reliability, and customer-first service.
