Infinity Appoints John Wilson as Chief Strategy Officer Amid Ambitious Growth Plans

Energy engineering consultancy, Infinity, has appointed industry leader, John Wilson, as Chief Strategy Officer to strengthen the Executive Team.

John was previously the Managing Director of both ClerkMaxwell and Step Change Engineering, prior to their respective sales to Costain Group and THREE60 Energy.

In his new position, John will be responsible for strategic guidance during an exciting period of growth. Infinity has experienced and forecasts substantial growth in Oil & Gas Projects and Operations contracts, as well as further New Energy projects including CCUS, Hydrogen and Floating Wind.

Infinity expects 40 new jobs to be created over the next three years, with New Energy projects accounting for 50% of revenue by the end of 2024. John Wilson said “I am delighted to be joining the team at such an exciting time in our growth trajectory. Our target is to be the Engineering Consultancy of choice for clients across the industry. In my position, I will support the strategic development and implementation of growth areas to ensure we achieve this goal.”
