Oceaneering completed a rigorous 18-month program covering business readiness and sector specific areas.
Audrey Orhon, General Manager, Manufactured Products-Rosyth, said: “We are delighted to be granted F4OR Status as the first cable manufacturer to be recognized by the organization. We are grateful to ORE Catapult, OWEC, Opergy, NAMRC (Nuclear Advanced Manufacturing Research Center), and other agencies for their guidance and time. Oceaneering has been contributing to the offshore renewables industry for over 10 years and we are delighted to be recognized for our efforts locally.”
Ben Hooker, Global Business Development Director—Renewables, added: “I am immensely proud of the team’s efforts and achievement. The F4OR designation is an important milestone for our renewables business in Scotland and the wider UK supply chain. We welcome the opportunity to demonstrate to the global floating wind sector not only our manufacturing capabilities at Rosyth, but our extensive portfolio of integrated products and services.”
F4OR is a unique program that helps prepare the UK supply chain to bid for work in the offshore renewable energy sector. The objective of the F4OR program is to support the development of an increasingly competent, capable, and competitive UK offshore renewable energy supply chain—maximizing opportunity for suppliers, both domestically and globally.
