Both SEAJET, an OEG Renewables company, and Global Marine have entered into two-year agreements with SMD, with each SLA tailored to fulfill the companies’ differing servicing requirements.

To facilitate the growing demand for the aftercare service, SMD invested in a new distribution hub earlier this year that is dedicated to an efficient delivery of spare parts.
SEAJET is the world’s only all-electric controlled flow excavation (E-CFE) service provider. Speaking on its new agreement with SMD, Daniel Cunny, Head of Business Development & Commercial at SEAJET, added: “As a market-leading company, we pride ourselves on delivering efficient, reliable operations to our clients. Global Marine provides subsea fiber optic cable installation, maintenance, and repair engineering services to companies worldwide. Mick Beezer, Modular Equipment Manager at Global Marine, commented: “It’s a pleasure to sign this agreement with SMD for the maintenance of our cable laying and repair fleet.
