The all-welded aluminum boats are powered by twin 250 HP Honda 4-stroke outboard engines.
At factory sea trials, the boats ran at 55 m.p.h. The electronics suites include Furuno FZTL systems which incorporate 36-mile radars, plotters, GPS’s and depthsounders. ICOM VHF radios are installed as well as Whelen siren/pa systems.
For crew comfort, the boats have heating and air conditioning that are powered by 9 Kw Northern Lights generator sets and Norcold refrigerators.
The customer was very pleased with the boats upon their delivery and looks forward to many years of excellent service. The boats are based on a well-proven Aluma design and construction. In addition, this hull design can be re-configured for other missions including firefighting, law enforcement and various other commercial and military applications.
