Coda Octopus Launches New Echoscope4G Series

Coda Octopus has now completed the launch of its full series of patented Fourth Generation real-time 3D sonars. The Echoscope4G series includes the replacement high-performance Echoscope4G®, the new Echoscope4G® C500 and new Echoscope4G® C500 Surface. Our new series of sonars takes advantage of the new reduced form factor as they relate to size, weight, and power requirements.

Our lightest and smallest sonars to date, the new Echoscope4G series will enable customers to access the latest performance feature set including increased ping rate, reduced minimum range, Ping Pong alternating ping mode, and programmable TVG.

The Echoscope4G Series

73d48e7d 5ce5 4cde b3ab ddbb2956cf94The Echoscope4G® and Echoscope4G® C500 are available in 250m through 4,000 meter depth ratings. For deep water solutions, these two real-time 3D volumetric sonars provide clear, high definition imagery of the underwater environment for applications from inland waterway work to large scale offshore projects and suitable for all installation platforms including AUV, ROV, and surface vessels and USVs.

The Echoscope4G C500 Surface and the previously launched Echoscope4GSurface are solutions for shallow water operations, and are available with a 20m depth rating. These much lighter, smaller housing variants make them ideally suitable for autonomous surface vehicles (“ASV”) or unmanned surface vehicles (“USV”). With the sonars’ unique capability to generate real-time 3D images around complex structures, this allows inshore security inspection, asset integrity mapping and search and rescue operations to be quickly and effectively undertaken.
