In 2008 the CUCE had 24 booths, 22 speakers and about 100 attendees. In 2016 there were 34 booths and 200 attendees. In 2017 the CUCE expects to host more booths, more speakers and more attendees who, in the past, have represented Australia, Ukraine, China, Sweden, UK, USA and Canada.
Every year the CUCE is held in a different location moving from the East Coast to Central Canada then to the West Coast. In 2017 the CUCE will be held from March 26 to 28, 2017 at the Ottawa Conference and Events Centre in Ottawa, Ontario. The 11000 sq ft exhibition hall will accommodate 36 exhibitor booths and as always, all meals and breaks will take place in the exhibition hall.
Attendees will include occupational divers, diving contractors, military, police & fire service divers, diving equipment manufacturers & suppliers, ROV manufacturers & service providers, diver/ROV training school personnel, marine, scientific & engineering students & personnel, diving regulators, ROV pilot/technicians, ROV contractors, Port/Harbour Authorities, General & Marine Contractors & Local Authorities.
