Ten scholarship awards of $5,000 are available to students pursuing degrees in STEM-related fields with a focus on undersea technology, including engineering, computer science, cybersecurity, information technology, science, and mathematics.
“Investing in the future undersea tech workforce and developing that talent pipeline is essential. Since its inception, the UTIC Scholarship Program has awarded more than $100,000 in funding, helping to catalyze innovative student research and accelerate the role scholarship recipients play in the undersea tech workforce,” said UTIC CEO Molly Donohue Magee.
To be eligible, students must be:
- A matriculating undergrad or grad student enrolled in a STEM-related program at an accredited college or university located in the US
- Entering their third year of study (or higher) in the upcoming academic year
- NOT a recipient of the UTIC scholarship in the 2025–2026 academic year
- A US citizen
