SLB OneSubsea has been awarded multiple contracts by Equinor in the first wave of contract awards for subsea tie-back developments on the Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS).

As part of the awards, SLB OneSubsea will design and manufacture the subsea production system for the Troll West Increased Gas Recovery North (TWIN) development, leveraging the standardized solutions developed for Troll phase 3 steps 1 and 2, as well as umbilical systems for all projects included in the first development wave.

“This award reflects the value of long-term collaboration and a shared focus on standardization,” said Mads Hjelmeland, Chief Executive Officer of SLB OneSubsea. “Together with Equinor, we are applying proven technologies and a repeatable delivery model to reduce complexity, improve efficiency and support the accelerated development of subsea resources on the NCS.”

The projects will help unlock additional resources through subsea tiebacks while maximizing the value of existing infrastructure, supporting Equinor’s ambition to sustain production through 2035.
