The new program, dubbed ATLANTIS (Aerodynamic Turbines, Lighter and Afloat, with Nautical Technologies and Integrated Servo-control) encourages collaboration among “scientists, engineers, and practitioners from different disciplines, technology sectors, and organizations” to facilitate “scientific and technological discoveries that a single group alone would not be able to achieve,” according to the announcement.
The Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) was posted January 31, and the deadline to submit concept papers is March 18 at 9:30 a.m. EST.
