Redefining Deep-Sea Trenching with Clean & Unmatched Power

Designed to be non-contact, SEAJET is as suited for sensitive cable installations around live assets as it is for heavy trenching through dense clay and gravel. Its ability to adapt to varying soil conditions and seabed types makes it a formidable tool for the lifecycle of offshore infrastructure, from construction to maintenance, repair, and final decommissioning.

In field campaigns, including a recent offshore wind project with Nexans, SEAJET outperformed legacy equipment. The system exceeded burial targets in shallow waters where other technologies had stalled due to cavitation and lack of subsea power. Nexans’ Project Manager, Geir Korstad, described SEAJET as a “very powerful tool,” praising both its trenching precision and the environmental benefits delivered during the campaign.

What truly sets SEAJET apart in the context of deep-sea operations is its sustainability profile. With zero hydraulic fluids, the system eliminates the risk of oil spills—a major concern in fragile deep-sea ecosystems.
