Under the terms of the agreement, IGG will act as the exclusive representative of Marine Instruments’ defense product portfolio, with special emphasis on the M5D Airfox RPAS, an advanced fixed-wing solar drone designed for maritime surveillance and security missions. Already in operation with the Spanish Navy, this system will be integrated and marketed by IGG within the defense platforms it develops and distributes in the region, fostering its adoption in one of the most dynamic markets for military technology investment.
An Alliance with International Potential
Gabriel Gómez, CEO of Marine Instruments, highlighted the importance of this alliance with IGG, stressing that it “not only validates the quality and innovation of our systems, such as the M5D-Airfox, but also opens the door to a market with enormous potential. It is a decisive step toward consolidating our global presence and demonstrating that Spanish technology is at the forefront of defense and security.”
For his part, Fadel Al-Kaabi, CEO of International Golden Group (IGG), stated that “the M5D-Airfox is a disruptive surveillance solution. Its autonomy, discretion, and ability to operate from naval platforms make it an asset of great value for maritime security. We are excited to offer this technology to our clients and thereby strengthen our operational capabilities.”
About the M5D-Airfox
The M5D-Airfox is a lightweight remotely piloted aerial system (RPAS), weighing just 4 kg, powered by solar energy, which grants it an exceptional endurance of up to 10 continuous flight hours. Its stealth design and high resilience make it an ideal tool for intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) missions, as well as for border protection, maritime pollution control, fisheries monitoring, and emergency management. Its ability to be deployed and recovered from ships without the need for complex infrastructure makes it especially suitable for demanding maritime environments.
