Following a successful year for IKM Testing UK, the company plans to broaden its service offering and headcount as it prepares for a similarly robust forecast for 2026.

IKM Testing UK, a leader in offshore decommissioning and pipeline services, is expanding its toolbox to introduce conductor cutting and sectioning services to the UK market.

The services will be launched in the UK following a series of successfully delivered projects by IKM Testing AS.

To deliver on the anticipated number of projects, the company has firm plans to invest in its workforce, expanding the team to strengthen onshore and offshore delivery capability. In addition, the company will invest in focused training for existing staff in conductor cutting and sectioning.

Regional Director at IKM, Barry Summers, commented, “This is an exciting time for IKM Testing UK as we prepare to meet our clients’ evolving needs for 2026. By building on the proven track record of IKM Testing AS, we are confident that our enhanced capabilities will deliver even greater value to clients across the UK.”

The additional services will add to IKM’s existing capabilities, which include a wide range of specialist services, topside steam cleaning, pipeline cleaning, and well plug and abandonment.
