Delmar Systems will provide the total mooring solution for the floating wind turbine, which will moor the modular, light, semisubmersible floater hull, designed by Ocergy, to the seabed. The Lankhorst Cabral 512 polyester mooring lines will be installed at the location in 90 meters of water depth. For the first time, Lankhorst mooring lines will feature a new cut-resistant LankoShield jacket designed to provide additional protection to the rope during and after installation.

Culzean Wind Turbine Pilot
Located in the Central North Sea, around 222 km east of Aberdeen, and part of Scotland’s INTOG leasing round, the Culzean floater is being built, installed, and commissioned by the EPCIC contractor Archer Wind, on behalf of their end client TotalEnergies. A 2 km export cable will link the wind turbine to the Culzean gas platform.
