Oil Companies Given Extensions to Stay in Venezuela

The U.S. Department of Treasure has authorized transactions involving Venezuelan state-run oil operations for the following entities and their subsidiaries:

Chevron Corporation
Halliburton
Schlumberger Limited
Baker Hughes, a GE Company
Weatherford International, Public Limited Company

The extension runs until 25 October 2019. It covers all transactions and activities ordinarily incident and necessary to the maintenance of operations, contracts, or other agreements in Venezuela.
