Aqueos Corporation, a premier provider of subsea services to the Gulf of Mexico and Pacific Coast, celebrates a milestone of 15 years of service this month.
Launched in June of 2000, Aqueos Corporation (then Divecon Services) began operations through the acquisition of the former West Coast offices of Stolt Comex Seaway, Inc. and Oceaneering International. Aqueos gained assets from both firms including vessels, remotely operated vehicles (ROV’s), diving and marine construction equipment. Aqueos continues to employ highly experienced management and field staffs of both former West Coast companies.
In 2005, as a result of severe offshore oil and gas infrastructure damage caused by hurricanes Katrina and Rita, Aqueos expanded operations into the Gulf of Mexico. And in 2008, they relocated their corporate headquarters from California to Broussard, Louisiana. Aqueos has grown significantly since its inception, and today Aqueos is a full service subsea contractor providing surface air, surface gas and saturation diving, Remote Operated Vehicles (ROV’s) and Vessel contracting services.
Aqueos President and CEO, Ted Roche, states “Since our inception in 2000, our goal has been ‘Operational Excellence’ and to be recognized as the premier company committed to growing a zero-incident and accident-free work culture. This milestone is a testament to the commitment of all of our stakeholders, including our offshore personnel, administrative staff, senior management and Board of Directors all working as a focused team. We attribute a large part of our success to continuous improvement, open communication, strategic planning and remaining focused on our core value of safety.”
Roche further commented, “We are also very appreciative of our many customers. Their feedback has shaped our company through the years, and their trust in our ability to support them has s ustained us. I believe the best is yet to come. We look forward to continued managed growth and to serve our valued customers for many years.”
Aqueos Corporation, with offices in Broussard, LA and Ventura, CA, provides marine construction and specialty subsea services including a complete range of commercial diving, remotely operated vehicles (ROV) and vessel-related services to the offshore oil and gas markets.
