The company recently underwent a rigorous audit of its business and manufacturing processes, and successfully completed the certification to the new standard as of May of this year. The new ISO 9001:2015 standard has a focus on risk-based thinking and accountability in all organizational processes, an emphasis on leadership involvement and demonstrated commitment to understanding the needs and expectations of interested parties, with the result of continual improvement and heightened customer focus and satisfaction.
“We are thrilled to receive the new certification, and look forward to the new Quality Management System and processes lending themselves to even greater synergy across all departments,” says Eric Birns, President and CEO. “We first received ISO certification in 2009, and have maintained it ever since, and are excited about what the new standard will mean for the way we do business, and the experience we offer customers worldwide.”
