ISO 9001:2015 is a globally recognized quality management standard developed and published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), which sets the criteria for which large or small companies, regardless of primary field of activity, should comply with to implement and maintain a quality management system (QMS).
For CSA, the accreditation serves as a testament to a 53-year track record of providing customers with the highest quality marine environmental products and services. The ongoing application and future auditing of CSA’s QMS will deliver a consistent framework of processes and procedures to ensure that clients and collaborators benefit from continued operational excellence, quality improvement, and accountability.
CSA’s ISO 9001:2015 certification was awarded by the North American Accreditation Bureau Inc. (NAAB), which examined seven core quality management principles, including customer focus; leadership; engagement of people; process approach; continuous improvement; evidence-based decision making; and relationship management. NAAB concluded that CSA’s processes, policies, and procedures fully align with the international standards prescribed by ISO 9001:2015.
“Receiving ISO 9001: 2015 certification serves as validation for CSA’s long-established commitment to maintaining stringent quality standards as we serve offshore industries with best-in-class field operations, technical innovation, and subject matter expertise,” said CSA CEO Kevin Peterson. “I am delighted to share this news with our many clients and partners and to ensure them that CSA will continue to prioritize our investments in delivering quality improvement, increased efficiencies, and enhanced customer service under our certified QMS.”
