DENIOS recently hosted Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear as part of the company’s 40th anniversary celebration. While touring the plant, Beshear saw how many DENIOS spill containment, hazardous material storage, and workplace safety solutions help protect people and the environment. Along the way, the Governor spoke with many employees who design, manufacture, market, and sell DENIOS’ varied products. The company’s nearly 100 employees gathered to hear comments presented by both DENIOS President Diego Rodriguez and Governor Beshear before posing for a photo op with the Governor.

“It was an honor to welcome Governor Andy Beshear to DENIOS,” said DENIOS President and CEO Diego Rodriguez. “It was a great opportunity to showcase the incredible work our team does every day to help companies protect their employees, communities, and the environment through innovative safety solutions. I’m proud to be part of a company that is celebrating 40 years of innovation and excellence, and even more proud of the dedicated team whose hard work made this visit such a success.”

“It was a pleasure to tour the facility and celebrate 40 years of success making innovative products that keep workers safe,” said Gov. Beshear. “Thank you to the team at DENIOS for hosting me and for their continued commitment to Louisville. I look forward to seeing how they continue to leverage Kentucky’s unmatched logistical advantage to ship these important products across the globe.”

DENIOS US is a key part of their German parent company and was established 36 years ago. It has been centrally located in Louisville for the entirety of its existence, and that’s not by accident. “Louisville is the perfect geographic hub for distribution throughout the Midwest and East Coast,” continued Rodriguez, citing the presence of neighbor UPS.

DENIOS employs nearly 100 people at its Louisville factory, with wide-ranging skills including manufacturing, logistics, engineering, support, sales, marketing, administration, purchasing, and more. “The people make it happen. Their passion and dedication keep not only our facility safe, but their expertise, innovative approach, and reliable service keep customer facilities operating safely and productively.”

Rodriguez summed up the event succinctly: “Thank you, Governor Beshear and your team, for taking the time to visit us and for your continued support of Kentucky’s manufacturing community.”

The latest innovation is the creation of a service department to install, inspect, and repair equipment like flood and spill barriers and provide maintenance to keep these and other products performing optimally.

“We’re thrilled to celebrate the first 40 years, and look forward to the next four decades,” summarized Rodriguez. “When you are surrounded by a group of talented, passionate, and dedicated contributors in all positions, there are truly no barriers to achieving our goals.”
