To be built directly next to the existing Fugro TechCenter, the office will bring the majority of Fugro employees in the Netherlands together in one place.
The design of architect Cepezed has been certified with a BREEAM Outstanding label, meaning the building will comply with the highest standards in sustainability and fits with Fugro’s net zero 2035 ambition. Fugro also made an innovative design for rainwater storage on the premises, which includes infiltration in deep soil layers and allows reuse of the water.
Construction work will commence soon, with delivery of the office expected for the second half of 2025. Fugro ultimately intends to lease the building and is currently reviewing options for financing and selling it.
The current (owned) headquarters of Fugro in Leidschendam, the Netherlands, is strongly outdated. Fugro is in conversation with the Voorburg-Leidschendam city council about the future plans for the plot and buildings at the Dillenburgsingel and Veurse Achterweg in Leidschendam.
