Motive, a leading global solutions provider of a full range of rental equipment and services including high capacity winches, spoolers and subsea equipment was recognised at the annual ceremony, which celebrates business accomplishments in the north east of Scotland.
Since launching in 2010 Motive’s services have evolved in line with market changes and are now seen as market leaders in the provision of solutions for the back deck and beyond, through manufacture and rental of high-capacity winches. The organisation, which is headquartered in Aberdeenshire at premises in Banff, Aberdeenshire currently employs 126 members of staff globally and just this year has expanded into a second premises, based in Kintore, Aberdeenshire.
With five bases worldwide (including Norway, Houston Texas and the UAE), Motive has focused upon growing its international presence, whilst diversifying into new services and products. Its portfolio of work is extensive, with contracts being secured across Europe and the USA, Taiwan, Brazil, Angola, Ghana, Australia and Singapore.
Motive‘s ambitions are reflected by a multi-million pound investment from EV Private Equity earlier this year, to support major growth plans.
