iSURVEY Boosts Business Development Team with Two New Appointments

Grant Aitchison joins iSURVEY Offshore in Aberdeen

iSURVEY has expanded its global team with the addition of two new business development managers, based in the UK and Norway.

Joining iSURVEY Offshore in Aberdeen is Grant Aitchison, who has spent the last 20 years in a variety of technical and management roles at Fugro’s survey and subsea services divisions.

He joins iSURVEY’s UK business to support its North Sea growth, which has been bolstered by increasing work in the offshore wind sector over the last 18 months. Grant will focus on both offshore oil and gas and wind as iSURVEY continues to build its business in the UKCS.

Grant said: “I’m delighted to join this successful business and be part of its growth journey. Having spent two decades working for a Tier 2 supplier of subsea services, I’m excited about the opportunities and potential offered by iSURVEY.”

Also joining the team at iSURVEY’s global headquarters in Oslo is Arild Brevik. Arild boasts a strong track record in sales and business development, recently managing sales of subsea instrumentation at Kongsberg.

He also brings a range of maritime experience, having worked as a coastguard operative officer, an Area Commander Naval Home Guard and captained several coastal passenger vessels and sea services tugs.

Arild commented: “iSURVEY has a strong international track record, and an excellent reputation in the subsea industry, so I’m very pleased to join the team.

“My career has involved positions offshore as well in sales and business development, so I have a varied background to bring to iSURVEY. As someone who enjoys taking a hands-on approach to technology, using it to solve challenging operational problems, I’m looking forward to working with both existing and potential clients to support their requirements.”

Øivind Røegh, Group CEO at iSURVEY added: “Whilst the last few years have been tough for the oil and gas industry, our business has remained resilient and strong, and our experienced, capable team have been a critical factor in this success.

“The first half of 2017 has been busy for iSURVEY, so we are pleased to add two experienced business development professionals to our team. This is reflective of increasing potential we see emerging in the market, and we want to ensure we have the right people in our business to maximise these opportunities. Both Grant and Arild will be valuable additions to our team.”
