HLV Jumbo Javelin recently transported this shiploader for K Project Logistics from Sattahip, Thailand, to the Dampier Bulk Handling Facility (DBHF) in Australia, where it has now been successfully installed on the new bulk jetty.

Measuring more than 40 meters long and 26 meters high, the shiploader took a week to install after being lifted from the vessel and carefully positioned onto its rails. It will play an important role in loading urea pellets produced by Perdaman’s Ceres Urea Plant in the Burrup Strategic Industrial Area.

As Peter Mathot, Senior Port Captain at Jumbo, put it: “Jumbo is very happy to have participated in this smooth delivery. Great teamwork, a well-engineered operation and excellent communication between all parties. To Pilbara Ports, the Perdaman team and Clough: success with the completion of the new DBHF!”
