Richard Dentzman joins Klein Marine Systems as a Regional Sales Manager, contributing to Klein’s market share expansion and new product introduction. Richard will be instrumental in strengthening cooperation with our reference customers in the U.S. Navy, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) and the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers (USACE) as well as other defense customers around the world.
Richard is a U.S. Submarine Veteran who brings a wealth of industry experience with some of the most prominent high technology sonar manufacturers. He has more than 20 years of surveying experience and his background includes work in numerous offshore research diving, acoustic subsea mapping and maritime security programs. Throughout his career, Richard successfully developed markets for a variety of underwater mapping and navigation systems. He currently sits on the Board of Directors of the SS American Memorial and he is affiliated -and actively involved with- the Navy Submarine League, U.S. Submarine Veterans, U.S. Hydrographic Society, Navy League, U.S. Naval Institute, American Association of Port Authorities and the Mine Warfare Association.
Mr. Dentzman holds a Master of Science (MS) in Geological Oceanography from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Geology from the University of Illinois.
