New Working Relationship to Highlight Digital Mapping

Trevor Hughes, Business Development Officer, International Geomatics

International Geomatics has announced a key working relationship to drive forward ambitious growth plans.

The Group, which was established in late 2017, operates under the founding differentiator of enhanced delivery of digital data to clients. Now, it has teamed up with fellow industry newcomer GreySellsGlobal Ltd. to offer the digital mapping portal product, ‘marineGRIDD.’

In spite of relatively short histories, both International Geomatics and GreySellsGlobal are making waves thanks to their respective survey, positioning and mapping capabilities. marineGRIDD is a web portal-based spatial delivery product which migrates new or existing datasets into a simple, user accessed system to deliver digital mapping to the client on handheld devices. It will be developed as the delivery mechanism for digital mapping products covering selected regional offshore activity areas, starting with Northwest Europe. Coverage will encompass a variety of features including operational offshore fields, installations, licence blocks with operator status, major pipelines, ports and terminals, development well locations, bathymetry and decommissioning facilities.

GreySellsGlobal Ltd (GSGL) specialise in the generation and publication of concise offshore activity maps to the oil, gas and marine service sectors. The company provides a versatile, flexible, digital delivery portal on handheld devices to his user base.

Commenting on the collaboration, International Geomatics Business Development Officer Trevor Hughes commented: “Our management team has known GreySellsGlobal founder Steve Adams for many years and we are pleased that he has been an integral part of the user interface to the product. We shall work closely over the next few months to develop the extensive range of mapping into a fully functional digital map data delivery product.”

Steve Adams added: “marineGRIDD provides a flexible approach to partition extensive datasets, delivering the information the client requests, without the previous high-tech interface or specialist knowledge to operate them.”

International Geomatics is attending Oceanology International in London, UK from March 13-15 and can be found on the Hemisphere GNSS stand #G500.
