Oceaneering’s Fraser Thomson Shortlisted for 2025 Offshore Achievement Awards

Oceaneering International has announced that Fraser Thomson, Principal Engineer for Oceaneering’s Manufactured Products business in Rosyth, Scotland, has been shortlisted for the 2025 Offshore Achievement Awards’ Industry Expert category.

“Fraser is our go-to engineer for tackling technical challenges, whether during development or execution,” said Shaun Roedel, Senior Vice President of Manufactured Products. “His innovative designs and problem-solving expertise drive the creation of industry-leading products, enabling flawless execution that exceeds our customers’ expectations.”

With over three decades of experience, Fraser has helped to advance subsea umbilical solutions, including high-collapse resistant hose, shaping API 17E standards, designing manufacturing facilities, and mentoring the next generation of engineers.

The Offshore Achievement Awards recognize outstanding achievements in the energy industry, including innovative technologies and significant individual contributions. The awards recognize those who go above and beyond in the energy sector. Winners will be announced at P&J Live in Aberdeen, UK, on Thursday, March 13, 2025.
