The strategic leadership transition at PXGEO marks the beginning of a new chapter for the four-year-old company as it builds on its strong foundations, delivering subsea technology for the global energy sector and preparing for its next phase of growth.
Mr. Davison Jr. brings more than 30 years of demonstrated experience in growing, modernizing, and transforming international businesses, with a deep background in the energy sector and particular expertise in subsea technologies, services, and products. His previous roles include Chief Operating Officer at Oceaneering International and Chairman of Magseis Fairfield ASA, where he demonstrated consistent success in driving commercial and operational excellence, revenue growth, margin expansion, and technology-led innovations.
He also served as Chairman and CEO at Fairfield Geotechnologies, leading a major turnaround and transformation of the company.
In parallel to his new role at PXGEO, Mr. Davison Jr. will continue to lead EnerMech, a leading technical solutions company for the energy industry, which shares the same shareholder as PXGEO. This dual leadership model is underpinned by strong executive teams and a shared governance structure, including aligned board representation across both companies.
PXGEO said: “We are thrilled to welcome Chuck to the business. His proven leadership, sector knowledge, and focus on sustainable growth will be instrumental as we continue scaling and strengthening PXGEO’s position in the market. He has delivered exceptional results and progress in his first year as CEO at EnerMech, and we are committed to his vision to support PXGEO in its ambitions.”
As part of the transition, Founder Peter Zickerman will remain actively involved in PXGEO as Vice Chairman and Chief Development Officer and will continue to serve on the board.
Commenting on his appointment, Chuck said: “PXGEO is entering a pivotal new phase. I’m humbled to lead the company and bring my experience to support its continued evolution. With a capable Executive Committee and an ambitious, talented team already in place, I look forward to working closely with our people, customers, and partners to face the challenges ahead, capitalizing on opportunities to improve our competitive position and deliver on our value agenda.
“I also remain fully committed to my role at EnerMech. It’s business as usual, with no impact on operations or leadership focus. The company continues to build momentum, supported by our strong and experienced executive leadership team.”
