With political uncertainty, regulatory shifts, and rising costs reshaping the global energy landscape, the wind industry faces both mounting challenges and new opportunities. The RECHARGE Wind Power Summit 2025 powered by WindEnergy Hamburg, taking place 27 November 2025 at the CCH – Congress Center Hamburg, will bring together global industry leaders to discuss the future of wind power, policy, and innovation.
The one-day event will feature three in-depth sessions exploring market outlook, technology transformation, and energy security, along with exclusive networking opportunities and an accompanying exhibition featuring leading companies from across the sector.
A Crucial Time for Global Wind
As the world’s demand for clean, reliable, and affordable energy continues to rise, expanding renewable capacity has never been more vital. The International Energy Agency’s Renewables 2025 Report projects that renewable energy capacity will increase 2.6-fold by 2030, with China and Europe maintaining strong growth and India rapidly scaling its investments. Bloomberg data shows wind energy alone attracted more than US$126 billion in investment during the first half of this year.
“At the RECHARGE Wind Power Summit, leaders from across the international wind sector will share insights on how to secure a sustainable and competitive future for the industry,” said Andrew Lee, Editor, RECHARGE.
Exclusive Exhibition
Running alongside the conference, an exhibition at the CCH – Congress Center Hamburg will feature leading companies showcasing innovation and expertise, including Mingyang Smart Energy, Enercon, Nordex, Waveshelter, UNIVERS, ADS-TEC Energy, Lynxeo, wpd, and Deutsche Windtechnik. Moreover, VDMA (German Mechanical Engineering Association), The German Wind Association (BWE) and Renewable Energy Hamburg (EEHH) are taking part.
“We are delighted to host such a diverse and forward-thinking group of exhibitors. Their contributions will add real value to the event and provide participants with insights into the technologies shaping the next generation of wind power,” said Claus Ulrich Selbach, Vice President Exhibitions, Hamburg Messe und Congress.
