Teledyne Marine Vehicles Promotes Pete Furze, CAPT/USN (Ret)

Teledyne Marine – Vehicles announces that Pete Furze has been promoted to Director, Navy Program Development – Vehicles. Furze has most recently been Teledyne Marine’s Product Line Manager for APEX profiling floats where his leadership has grown Teledyne’s market presence and customer satisfaction.

furzeFurze is a retired US Navy captain with thirty years in the Navy meteorology and oceanography community. He served afloat and ashore, including command of the Joint Typhoon Warning Center and Commander, Undersea Surveillance. Since transition in 2009, Furze has worked with small and large businesses, including the role of Contract Program Manager at NOAA’s National Data Buoy Center while with CSC Applied Technologies.

“With Pete’s experience serving in the U.S. Navy and significant time working in marine science and technology, he is uniquely qualified to solidify and grow the Teledyne Marine vehicle programs with the Navy”, stated Dr. Thomas Altshuler, Vice President and Group General Manager for Teledyne Marine.
