One of the most anticipated new features is the integrated 3D visualization window. The 3D window is dockable in the main user interface and allows side-by-side viewing of real-time and post-processed sonar data, grids and images. Rendering bathymetry and sub-bottom process profile graphics in 3D will be as simple as clicking a button.
Swath bathymetry systems will also be fully supported in the new software. The updated contact manager and database allow users to capture both bathymetric and acoustic image data for each identified contact.
SonarWiz 7 will be available July 1 at no extra cost to all users with a current maintenance agreement (EMA).
