Zinus, a global leader in shore power solutions, announced the launch of two new cable management systems (CMS) for the cruise segment: the CRU230E and CRU340. These next-generation solutions are designed to support the growing demand for cruise port electrification and further strengthen Zinus’ position as a leading global provider of innovative shore power infrastructure.

As ports accelerate efforts to reduce emissions, reliable and space-efficient cable handling systems become critical. With this launch, Zinus introduces the most compact cable management solutions available for cruise ports today, enabling ports to maximize available quay space while improving operational efficiency.

The CRU230E, featuring an integrated energy chain system, is the most compact solution in its class. It optimizes docking operations by maximizing vessel connection time while ensuring safe and efficient cable handling. The system integrates seamlessly with the Zinus ZPC120 energy chain, enabling precise cable routing over long distances, while its compact and robust design ensures reliable performance in demanding marine environments.

The CRU340 is engineered for maximum flexibility and space efficiency in modern port environments. Its surface-based cable layout connects directly to cabinets and allows cable deployment in both directions, eliminating the need to reposition the system. Designed for fast connection and minimal maintenance, it enables streamlined operations and efficient integration with port infrastructure.

Both systems deliver key competitive advantages:

  • Class-leading compact size, minimizing quay footprint
  • High flexibility for diverse port configurations
  • Low system weight, simplifying transport, installation, and handling
  • Low structural height, ensuring maximum operational freedom

“These new systems reflect our commitment to delivering innovative and practical solutions for cruise ports,” said Bjørn Sturle Hillestad, VP Sales & Marketing, at Zinus. “With our flexible solution range, we enable ports to electrify faster and operate more efficiently, while preparing for a more sustainable future.”

With this launch, Zinus continues to expand its portfolio of advanced shore power solutions, reinforcing its role as a global partner for ports and operators worldwide.
