The first ROV has a long-term contract with a leading marine transportation company to provide oil and gas drill support operations off the Gulf Coast. This work will support an international energy company for a minimum of 120 days. Additional days beyond the firm’s scope are anticipated.
The second ROV completed mobilization earlier this month in support of the offshore wind industry off the New England Coast. This project was completed early, and the ROV system is moving to the Gulf Coast for placement on a vessel chartered by Nauticus alongside an Aquanaut vehicle for the remainder of the 2025 season. Ongoing customer discussions are expected to result in Gulf Coast operations for the environmental and oil and gas industries. The combination of both vehicles onboard a single vessel will provide the opportunity to expand Nauticus’ Aquanaut customer base while continuing the strong relationships with its early adopters.
Steve Walsh, Vice President of Nauticus Robotics Sales, commented, “The opportunities for increased offshore safety, vehicle uptime, and efficient operations are enormous. The combined solutions between SeaTrepid and Nauticus have created excitement about the transformation to autonomy which is currently underway.”
