The contract has a firm duration of three years, plus two yearly options, and is scheduled to commence in 1Q 2027.

June 26, 2024, SOMA announced a five-year firm contract with Prysmian for the Normand Ocean. This contract will instead be covered by another CSV from the SOMA fleet.

Both vessels will then have firm commitments from long-term Clients of Solstad into the next decade.
