In addition to ground-breaking hot tap solutions, STATS’ patented BISEP^® line stop technology offers a fully monitored dual seal barrier that meets DNV Type Approval standards for Pipeline Isolation Plugs. Mid-line isolations for repair or maintenance purposes can be done without halting production operations.

Recent successful deployments include:

Bass Strait, Offshore Australia: Installation of an 18″ hot tap clamp with a 12″ branch, maintaining pipeline pressure at 72.5 bar on a critical pipeline tie-in.
Dutch North Sea: Support for Petrogas in connecting gas fields with potential reserves of 100 billion cubic feet to existing infrastructure.
Norwegian Continental Shelf: Collaboration with Aker BP and Subsea 7 to install an 8″ mechanical hot tap clamp operating at 143 bar. The first of its kind in NCS, the elimination of hyperbaric welding reduced costs and saved time.
