Hellenic Cables, the cables segment of Cenergy Holdings, has been accepted as a member of the Wire & Cable Manufacturers Alliance (WCMA), following approval of its application by the organization’s Board.

WCMA brings together leading wire and cable manufacturers with manufacturing presence in North America, promoting collaboration, knowledge sharing, and the advancement of industry standards. Through its participation, the company will further engage with key stakeholders and contribute to the development of modern energy networks.

The membership provides access to a broad network of experts, market insights, and industry best practices, further supporting the company’s strategic focus on delivering reliable solutions for energy transmission and distribution, as well as infrastructure projects. This is further reinforced by the company’s ongoing investment in a new medium- and high-voltage cable manufacturing plant in Baltimore, Maryland, expected to be operational in the second semester of 2027.

Dimitris Kolaitis, Business Development Director at Hellenic Cables Americas, stated: “Joining WCMA marks another important step in strengthening our global presence and deepening our collaboration in the domestic cable industry. Through this membership, we aim to actively contribute to the exchange of expertise and the development of reliable and efficient energy grid infrastructure.”
